My Farewell Hugely Huggelig Copenhagen Project

Feel Good Art
by Joanna Mugford
Joanna (Aska) Mugford, a Polish-born artist now residing in Copenhagen, infuses her work with the vibrant energy of nature and the brighter side of life.
When not in her studio, Aska can be found exploring Copenhagen’s green spaces with her British husband, two teenage sons, and their beloved rescue dog.

Bold colours that will enlighten your day
acrylic paintings on any surface
Textured and vibrant acrylics work fantastic in the creation of street art style paintings whether the surface is paper, wood or a piece of wall.
Translating feeling into art
with delicate watercolours
This graceful medium allows to create artworks pleasant for the eye and soul. Delicate and soothing colours reflect the feeling of tranquility and beauty of simple scenes from everyday life.

A world without limits
the power of digital art
Extensive colour palette and forgiveness of digital art allow experimentation without waste and freedom to push one’s imagination to the infinity and beyond.

Local inspiration
Beauty and inspiration can be found just around the corner. So I often carry a sketchbook with me, in case something catches my eye.
Community connection
For a freelance, expat artist like me, being a part of local communities fulfils my need to belong somewhere and gives me even more purpose to create art.
No AI content
I believe there are areas of life where AI is a helpful invention. However I refuse to use it to create my content whether it’s visual art or text.
