Don't let them fool you art series

It was around autumn 2021, when I had an idea for a series of portraits of animals wrapped in plastic. Over time the series evolved and referred to further environmental problems such as climate change, decreasing biodiversity and air pollution.

The idea behind catchy colourful art with an ironic humour was to inspire us to undertake more eco-con-scious actions without the element of scare and guilt.

At the moment the ‘Don’t Let Them Fool You’ series contains 7 animal portraits, which were exhibited during my solo show in Art Escape Studios in Copenhagen in April 2023.

In August 2023, the portrait of the wolf ‘Lotta wrap Riding Hood’ (wolf’s portrait) won a 2nd place in international competition Art@Climate 2030 during the exhibition in Gothenburg.
